Growing up as a Nigerian-born American, Tolu’s bicultural experience fueled her passion to help others discover diverse cultural stories, a goal she expertly achieves through her hard work at Spotify.
She weaves the stories taking place in the world into content, marketing, and experiences. She’s led the creation of moments like RapCaviar Pantheon and pushed cultural norms with programs like Black History Is Happening Now. As the Sr. Editor of Cultural Curation at Spotify, she musically reflects our times through brand, influencer, award show, festival, and artist collaborations.
She leads BLK, Spotify’s global Black Employee Resource Group, and aims to make the tech, music, and media more inclusive and representative of the full spectrum of the Black experience.
