Jon heads up the search & biddable media practice at MARC USA|Cogniscient Media, one of the oldest and largest full-service independent ad agencies in the country. A fourteen year veteran of the ad agency world, he has worked on brands such as Equifax, American Express, GSK, Abbvie, Payless, Bookit.com, Qdoba, Navistar and many more. Developing a niche for unique vertical subset clients, and specializing in highly regulated industries (Pharmaceuticals and Financial Services).

Notorious for his “snarcastic” speaking style, Jon is known for his audience segmentation analysis and proper brand safety rant style presentations. These are equal parts paid media tactics and meme’s/quotes from “The Office.” In addition to SoundBoard, you can find Jon presenting at SMX, Search Insider Summit, Health Summit, as well as a frequent contributor to MediaPost’s Search Marketing Daily.

Working remotely from his teams in Stamford, CT, when Jon isn’t at the mercy of American Airlines for a work trip, he is spending time with his amazing wife and kids. Although for 4-5 months a year, this die-hard New York Jets fan is sitting on his couch on Sundays, shoveling pizza in his mouth, while questioning if there are better football teams to support. For what he can’t tell you about econometrics modeling (his team specializes in that), he can tell you how to properly smoke a pork shoulder or whole chicken.
