Ricky Steele combines 30 years of entrepreneurial experience with a focus on new business development, client retention, public relations, and community development.
Ricky is the Chief Development Officer for Delta Global Staffing, a subsidiary of Delta Air Lines. He recently completed the successful sale of Menchie’s Beechwood and Menchie’s Georgetown in Athens, Georgia. Ricky also hosts a weekly internet radio show discussing issues facing the technology community in Georgia.
In the 1980s, Ricky created the largest destination management company in the Southeast, publishing several titles including Georgia On My Mind, the official travel guide of the state of Georgia. In 1992, he became President of Innovative Media, producing videos for newcomers in six different cities, which won an Atlanta Telly Award. Within two years, Cox Broadcasting bought Innovative Media, securing a triple digit return on shareholders’ investment.
Ricky’s career is focused on building lifelong relationships and finding ways to serve those relationships however he can. He’s written the book on networking twice over, following Heart of Networking with Heart of Networking: Second Edition.
