Robin Fay

Both Robin’s professional work and passions lie at the intersection of how the Internet works and how that technology can improve our daily lives. More specifically, she studies and consults on the relationship between the social and semantic web for private companies, nonprofits, library systems, and other institutions.

Robin has worked with the Emory Library at Oxford, and ran her own web and graphic design company for nearly 4 years before being offered the job of Head Database Maintenance at the University of Georgia. Currently, Robin leads numerous technology projects for Athens Technical College, including development of a Learning Objects Repository (LOR), web development & design overhauls, and community outreach programs.

In her limited free time, Robin enjoys traveling, listening to music, pondering metadata, and working on art projects. You might even bump into her working on a masterpiece at Artini’s Open Art Studio in Athens.
